Shamanic Journeys and Guidance

Shamanic journeys are primarily achieved in one of two ways. One way is to be guided by a facilitator with the accompaniment of a drum. There are a variety of reasons to embark on such a journey. One can meet their spirit guide(s), receive guidance from existing guides and connect with animal totems or experience energetic/spiritual healing.

The facilitator doing the journey for the client is another form of Shamanic journeying. This technique is typically performed by the facilitator achieving a state of consciousness in which they are able to seek missing soul, or energetic, fragments of the person or to “see” the source of their situation at hand.

In short, the facilitator’s job is to provide a connection between the seen and the unseen world for the sake of guidance and/or energetic healing. The methods used at The Heart Center come from the wisdom of teachers that were entrusted with “the old ways” through generations of oral history and stewardship so they may now be shared for the highest good.
